Practice Areas
Comprehensive capabilities. Comprehensively described.
Futtbucker maintains five practice areas, each staffed by professionals who have completed our internal certification and, in most cases, the associated background checks. The fourth practice is not discussed at dinner. The fifth practice undoes the first four, and is invoiced accordingly. Scroll down to learn what we do. Then read it again. It will not become clearer.
“You cannot manage what you cannot bucket. You cannot bucket what you cannot name. You cannot name what has not been scoped separately.”

Strategic Bucketization
Every organization has buckets. Most have too many. Some have too few. Nearly all have the wrong ones. Our proprietary Bucketization Maturity Model™ assesses your bucket posture across five levels of increasing invoiceability:
- Level 1 — Ad Hoc: Buckets exist, but nobody will admit to owning them.
- Level 2 — Emerging: Buckets have names. The names are in dispute.
- Level 3 — Managed: A steering committee meets biweekly to discuss the buckets. Nothing is decided.
- Level 4 — Optimized: The buckets have been consolidated into one enormous bucket. Morale is mixed.
- Level 5 — Transcendent: There are no buckets. There is only The Bucket. You are inside it.
Engagements typically run 9 to 36 months, or until budget exhaustion, whichever comes first. It is always budget exhaustion. Debucketization is available as a separate engagement under the Bidirectional Value Doctrine™. Bucket count and bucket names are scoped separately.
Practice 02
Deep Integration Services
Integration is not a project. It is a lifestyle. Our practitioners embed within your organization and do not leave until every vertical has been fully penetrated, front to back, end to end, floor to ceiling. The engagement proceeds in four phases:
- Phase I — Discovery: We find your endpoints. All of them. Even the ones you were saving.
- Phase II — Coupling: Systems that were never meant to touch are joined, permanently, in ways that cannot be documented.
- Phase III — Saturation: Integration reaches every layer of the stack. Middleware weeps. It is beautiful.
- Phase IV — Afterglow: A 400-page findings deck is delivered. No one opens it. The invoice, however, is opened immediately.
Client satisfaction in this practice is our highest, though several clients have asked us to stop calling it that.
Practice 03
Post-Synergy Realignment
Synergy has consequences. When the deal closes, the town halls end, and the org chart settles into its seventh draft, our realignment specialists guide your people through the Five Stages of Post-Synergy Grief:
- Denial: “Our culture will remain unchanged.”
- Anger: “Why is my badge deactivated?”
- Bargaining: “What if we kept both CRMs?”
- Depression: The beige months.
- Acceptance: “We are one Futtbucker family now.”
Realignment concludes with a certificate ceremony. The certificates are non-transferable and expire in one fiscal year, at which point re-realignment is available at preferred rates.
Practice 04
Anal Retention Analysis™
Some organizations hold on too tightly: to process, to approvals, to controls so firm that nothing moves, including revenue. Our ARA practice examines these bottlenecks thoroughly and delivers a structured plan for letting go. The engagement has five phases:
- Intake: We ask where it hurts.
- Assessment: We look.
- Findings: It is as bad as you thought. Possibly worse.
- Remediation: A 12-week loosening program, facilitated.
- Follow-Up: Annual. Non-optional.
Delivered exclusively by FCM-credentialed practitioners. Clients describe the outcome as “a weight lifted.” We describe it as billable.
Practice 05
Reversal Services
Practices 01 through 04 move your organization forward. Practice 05 moves it back. Under the Bidirectional Value Doctrine™, every Futtbucker service line is paired with its equal and opposite service line, staffed by the same practitioners and delivered from the same deck, read in reverse. Debucketization. Desynergization. Reverticalization. Analog Restoration. Re-Rightsizing. Whereshoring™. Every engagement is fully reversible. Reversal is a separate engagement.
68% of clients engage the reverse service within 14 months. 31% engage it before the forward engagement concludes. Reverse engagements are priced slightly above their forward equivalents. This is not explained.
