Security Practices

Defense in depth. Depth undisclosed.

  • Encryption: all data is encrypted at rest, in transit, and in the bucket. The key is also in the bucket.
  • Access control: least privilege, applied to clients.
  • Penetration testing: conducted continuously by our Deep Integration practice. Every finding is a feature.
  • Incident response: incidents are responded to by the Retention Agent, which enters, remains, and follows up annually.
  • Vendor risk: we have one vendor. It is us. Risk: directionally acceptable.
  • Data retention: one fiscal eternity, rolling, always ending in Q3.
  • Reversibility: every control above can be reversed under the Bidirectional Value Doctrine™. Encryption is un-encrypted, access is un-controlled, and the finding becomes a feature again. Reversal is logged. The log is reversible.
